You Are Really What You Eat!

Ever “gone with your gut” to make a decision? Felt “butterflies in your stomach”?

Rings a bell?

You’re likely getting signals from an unexpected source: your second brain. What? Yes, hidden in the walls of your digestive system, the second “brain" is your gut!

Your second brain has a huge impact on your mood, health and even the way you think!

Scientists call this second brain- enteric nervous system (ENS). The ENS is two thin layers of more than 100 million nerve cells lining your gastrointestinal tract from esophagus to rectum.

Now This Is Intresting...

Your Gut's Brain Controls You More Than You Think!

Researchers have found that our "second brain" communicates with the brain in our head. Together, the "two brains" play a key role in certain diseases in our bodies and overall health. Our second brain influences our judgment, and much else besides.

Your daily energy comes from the foods you eat — and what's in that food makes all the difference. Put simply, what you eat directly affects the structure and function of your brain and, ultimately, your mood. Like an expensive car, your brain functions best when it gets only premium fuel.

What's for lunch?

The ENS is in constant communication with the brain in our skull via the body’s own information superhighway – the vagus nerve. And it’s now becoming clear that all those signals flowing back and forth can influence our decisions, mood and general well-being.

Eating high-quality foods that contain lots of vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants nourishes the brain and protects it from oxidative stress — the "waste" (free radicals) produced when the body uses oxygen, which can damage cells.

Studies have compared "traditional" diets, like the Mediterranean diet and the traditional Japanese diet, to a typical "Western" diet and have shown that the risk of depression is 25% to 35% lower in those who eat... I will express it so: whatever they find. Scientists account for this difference because these traditional diets tend to be high in vegetables, fruits, unprocessed grains, and fish and seafood, and to contain only modest amounts of lean meats and dairy. They are also void of processed and refined foods and sugars, which are staples of the "Western" dietary pattern. In addition, many of these unprocessed foods are fermented, and contain lot of natural probiotics.

And the good bacteria not only influence what your gut digests and absorbs, but that they also affect the degree of inflammation throughout your body, as well as your mood and energy level!

What Does This All Mean For You?

In order to feel strong, energetic and to act always at your highes level - YOU MUST EAT RIGHT! Sorry, there is no shortcut or magic pill.

Start paying attention to how eating different foods makes you feel.

Eat a "clean" diet for two to three weeks — that means cutting out all processed foods and sugar and observe miracles happen!

Go clean and you will not believe at the beginning how much better you're going to feel- physically and emotionally!
